Blueberry Lemon French Toast

While we are holding on to the last few warm days and rolling into fall, we can’t miss this amazing recipe bursting with flavor and the last of those juicy lemons!

Grab a bowl and whip up this delightful last summery dish before you move into all things apple spice and pumpkin.

5 eggs

1 cup milk

1/4 cup butter ( melted)

1/3 cup maple syrup

1 1/2 tsp vanilla

1 loaf of bread

2 cups blueberries

1 tsp lemon zest

GLAZE: 1 Tbsp milk

1 tsp Vanilla

1/2 cup powder sugar

2 tsp lemon zest

In a bowl mix together eggs, milk, butter, maple syrup, vanilla and lemon zest

Spray a 8x8 pan and then cube up loaf of bread and place into pan. Add blueberries to pan with bread and pour egg mixture over bread.

Cook at 350*F for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown and set in the middle.

Drizzle with glaze once removed from the oven and cooled for 10 minutes
